How much notice do you need to give when ordering a cake?

Please try and book your cake as early as possible to avoid disappointment. However, at Sable’s Cakes I am proud of the fact that I have been able to accommodate short notice cakes (diary permitting). For Wedding Cakes, the more notice given the better, as the Summer period gets booked very quickly. All cakes are individually hand made to your specific requirements.

Can I personalise my cake?

Yes. Your cake will be personalised to your requirements. I will take the details of your message over the phone or on the enquiry form. These details will be confirmed either by phone or email. You can email me with a photo if you would like one added to your cake. I will use my discretion as to whether the message appears on the cake or the board.

Do you use free range or organic ingredients?

We always use free range eggs, organic sugar and kosher food colourings. 100% pure Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla Extract and Vanilla Bean Paste is used widely in cakes and frostings.

Do you do cakes for those with special dietary needs?

Yes. Eggless, Dairy free, Vegan and Gluten free cakes are available upon request. Muslim clients are also welcome as no gelatine or alcohol is used in cakes unless specifically requested.

How do I confirm my order?

Please complete the enquiry form (above) with as much detail as possible please and I will respond to your enquiry within 24 hours. Once we have discussed a price that you are happy with a 50% deposit (40% for Wedding cakes or full amount if short notice cake) is to be paid to confirm the booking. For cupcake orders up to boxes of 24, full payment is required at the time of booking. 50% deposit will apply to orders of 24 and above. I will provide you with the details to make payment by Cash, PayPal (a 3.4% surcharge is applied), Cheque or BACS (Bank Transfer). All deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE.

Where is Sable’s Cakes located?

Enfield, Middx. For your convenience, I am happy to deliver your cake to you within the M25 at an additional cost (details are on the ‘Prices’ page).

Are there any delivery charges?

Delivery rates are outlined on the ‘Prices’ page for your information. For distances over 30 miles from Enfield, please contact me to discuss.

I cannot see the cake I’d like in your gallery, can I send you a picture of what I want?

You are more than welcome to email me with a picture of your requirements hello@sablescakes.co.uk and we can then discuss in more detail so you are happy with your design.
